15 injured in Taxi crash

Fifteen people have been injured after a taxi collided with a truck on Richmond Road over the N3 in Pinetown just before 6pm on Saturday night.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find a taxi badly smashed with multiple passengers injured. Immediately more ambulances were dispatched to deal with the number of patients on the scene. A total of fifteen people were treated on scene before being transported by Rescue Care and EMRS paramedics to multiple hospitals in Durban.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
