At 12h32 on Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics Responded to the R617 Boston Bulwer Road in the Natal Midlands for a multivehicle collision. Exact detail to the cause of the crash and preceding events is still speculative and will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway totally obstructed with accident debris and the twisted frames of the vehicle. After the injured were examined it was found that three people from the sedan and one person from the white LDV had tragically died due to the extensive injuries that they sustained. One person sustained serious injuries while one miraculously escaped with minor injuries.
Medics stabilised the injured at the scene before they transported them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
