Alert: Trucks torched in violent protest on R40 between Bushbuckridge and Hazyview

Truckers are warned to avoid the volatile Hazyview area in Mpumalanga after two trucks were torched last night during a protest.

The two trucks were burned on the R40 between Bushbuckridge and Hazyview at Marite Marongwane area.

The attack on trucks comes following a two weeks long service delivery protest in the area.

Motorists traveling on the R40 between Bushbuckridge and Hazyview are urged to drive carefully or use alternatives if possible.
