Aren’t you too sad to drive?

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that developers at the University of Houston plan to build a sensor into a steering wheel to warn a driver to stop the vehicle or slow down.

It’s activated when there is an adjustment of hands on the wheel to correct errors made by loss of concentration.

Research has shown that feeling sad, angry or agitated increases the risk of a crash when behind the wheel.
