Beitbridge Border protests SA side in pictures as it happens

Protesters have closed the N1 to and from Beitbridge Border post and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Our sources say the crowds are marching to Musina hence the whole rad will obviously affected.

Pictures show a big crowd which is so far peaciful.

The reason for the protests is the decision by the Zimbabwean Government to ban imports of several items which was the backbone for the small border town of Musina and the whole of Zimbabwe.
