Bergville N3 Crash: Police Hunt for Truck Driver Who Fled Scene

KwaZulu-Natal authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing a truck driver who allegedly fled the scene of a deadly crash on the N3 near the Bergville Interchange on Saturday morning.

The accident, which involved a truck and a minibus taxi, claimed the lives of four people and caused major disruptions on the busy Gauteng-bound carriageway.

Emergency services, SAPS, and Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) officers attended to the scene, while traffic on the route was backed up for hours before the road was reopened.
