Musina — Authorities have closed the N1 northbound near Ingwe Lodge following a serious bus crash that occurred on Sunday afternoon, 12 October 2025.
According to the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety, details of the crash are still sketchy at this stage. Emergency services are currently on scene, and MEC Violet Mathye is reportedly rushing to the site to assess the situation.
The accident has led to a complete road closure, causing major traffic disruptions on one of Limpopo’s busiest routes connecting Makhado and Musina. Motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes.
