The N3 Toll Concession (N3TC) has just announced the immediate closure of the N3 at Van Reenen Pass due to hazardous driving conditions.
In the interest of safety, all traffic is being halted at the Tugela Plaza in KwaZulu-Natal and the Harrismith South Interchange in the Free State.
The N3, a critical route between Durban and Johannesburg, will remain closed until conditions improve.
N3TC advises motorists to suspend any travel plans through the area, as road conditions are currently unsafe.

Where possible, vehicles are being turned around at designated points along the route to prevent further congestion and ensure safety.
