The N3 is currently blockaded at the bottom of the Van Reenen pass before the Tugela toll gate allegedly by protesting truck drivers.
The N3 Truck blockade was reported to SA Trucker around 05h25. Police are on scene to monitor the situation.
Traffic is being diverted to alternative routes. SA Trucker advises motorists to be exctra cautious when driving in the area and watch out for secondary blockades.
N3 Toll Concession confirmed the freeway blockade in a tweet.
