Motorists travelling on the N1 northbound towards Musina are being urged to proceed with caution after a truck capsized on the route earlier today, causing partial obstruction and delays.
The incident occurred approximately 2km past Clouds End, where the truck has remained on the roadway since the morning hours. Authorities have confirmed that traffic is still moving through the area, but only under controlled conditions with officers actively managing the flow.
According to the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety, no injuries have been reported in the incident. However, the situation continues to impact traffic due to the position of the truck, which is obstructing part of the lane.
A recovery vehicle from Musina is currently on its way to the scene to remove the capsized truck and restore full access to the roadway. Until then, motorists should expect delays and possible stop-and-go traffic as officials work to keep vehicles moving safely past the scene.
Drivers are advised to reduce speed well in advance of the affected area, remain alert, and follow all instructions given by traffic officers on site.

Truck drivers, especially those planning to travel the route later tonight, are encouraged to first check with local authorities before proceeding. Visibility and manoeuvring around the scene could become more challenging after dark, increasing the risk for further incidents.
Road users are reminded that even a single obstruction on a busy national route like the N1 can quickly lead to congestion and dangerous conditions if caution is not exercised.
Authorities have indicated that a further update will be issued once the truck has been successfully recovered and the road is fully cleared.
