Car rolls down embarkment off M13

A man has been injured after his vehivle rolled down an embarkment off M13 in Pinetown.

The accident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning. Netcare911 Rescue Officers responded to the accident and on arrival found that a vehicle had rolled down a steep embankment.

The Netcare911 rescue officer worked alongside other services on scene to rescue the driver up to safety as well as his vehicle.

Once rescued, the driver was assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries.

The man was stabilised on scene and transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics from another emergency service.

The cause of the accident is not known and will remain the subject of police investigation.
