Durban – CCTV footage has emerged showing a dramatic crash inside a container depot in Durban after a truck slammed into two others waiting in a queue.
In the video, two trucks can be seen parked one behind the other, patiently waiting to load. Moments later, a white Mercedes-Benz Actros appears from the background travelling at high speed. Without slowing down, the truck smashes into the side of both vehicles.
The impact caused massive damage, with one truck left visibly wrecked and the trailer of the front vehicle also badly damaged. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of injuries at the time of publishing.
The exact cause of the crash is still unknown. Whether it was mechanical failure, brake problems, or driver error has not yet been confirmed.

The incident has raised concerns about safety standards in container depots, where trucks often queue in tight spaces with little room to manoeuvre. Operators and drivers alike are calling for stricter safety checks and better traffic management inside these busy facilities.
