The South African Police Service in Springbok is appealing to the public for assistance in locating Mr Talent Gutoona, a truck driver who may be able to assist detectives in an ongoing culpable homicide investigation.
The case stems from a head-on collision involving two trucks in the early hours of 02 November 2025 on the outskirts of Springbok.
One of the drivers tragically succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
According to SAPS, Mr Gutoona was driving one of the vehicles involved. He was employed by a transport company based in the Springbok industrial area at the time of the incident. Following the collision, he was transported to hospital for medical treatment.
However, before investigators could obtain a statement from him, Mr Gutoona disappeared. His current whereabouts are unknown, and SAPS confirms that he is considered a person of interest who may provide crucial information to assist the investigation. He was last seen wearing a dark blue overall.

Detectives are urgently requesting anyone with information to come forward.
