If you’re a Code 14 driver trying to get your foot into the big league of logistics, here’s a chance you don’t want to miss. DP World is offering a Truck Driver QCTO Learnership aimed at giving drivers both the theory and hands-on experience they need to qualify as professional heavy-duty drivers.

The learnership, run under Imperial Fast ’n Fresh, is designed to help participants obtain the Occupational Certificate: Truck Driver Qualification, a recognised credential in the transport industry. Successful learners will go through a structured programme that includes theoretical training, modular training, practical driving sessions, and general operational duties – all crucial for building a strong career behind the wheel.

What They’re Looking For

Applicants need to have:

  • A Grade 12 certificate
  • A valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s licence
  • A current PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)

It’s also important to note that candidates must not have completed a driver learnership before – this opportunity is aimed at those looking for their first formal step into professional truck driving.
