A man was killed when his bakkie collided head-on with a tipper truck on Wednesday afternoon.
Netcare 911’s Shawn Herbst said paramedics responded to reports of a collision on Booysens Reserve Road Johannesburg South region at 15h58.
Reports from the scene indicate that a tipper truck and bakkie were involved in a collision.
“When medics assessed the patients they found that the driver of the bakkie, an adult male had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene,” said Herbst.
The driver of the truck had escaped injury.
