Driver Severely Entrapped After Truck Overturns on M7 Near Hans Dattman Offramp

A serious crash has just occurred on the M7 Pinetown-bound at the Hans Dattman offramp, leaving a truck driver severely entrapped inside the wreckage.

According to ALS Paramedics on scene, the truck reportedly overturned and landed on its roof, trapping the driver inside the cab. Emergency services arrived quickly and confirmed that at least one person is critically trapped in the twisted metal.

Fire and Rescue teams have been dispatched to the scene and are working to stabilise the vehicle before beginning the delicate process of freeing the driver. The extent of injuries is not yet known, but medics say the situation is serious.

Motorists travelling westbound towards Pinetown are urged to approach the area with extreme caution. Traffic is already building up near the offramp as emergency crews work under pressure to secure the scene and prevent further incidents.
