Family escapes injury in Umhlanga collision

A family were lucky to escape unharmed, after a motor vehicle collision on Umhlanga Rocks Drive on Saturday night.

Reports from the scene indicate the family were travelling in a northerly direction when a driver of a vehicle headed south, allegedly lost control of his vehicle at high speed, causing it to over turn, rolling several times before colliding with the family vehicle.

Remarkably no one sustained any serious injuries. The occupants of both vehicles were attended to on scene and later refused hospital transportation.
