Twenty one people have been killed while eight others have sustained injuries after three vehicles collided at Lizulu in Ntcheu, Malawi this Sunday morning.
Ntcheu Police Officer-in-Charge, Julius Munthali, says the injured and the dead are people from Chikwawa who came to Ntcheu for “friendship visitation” at Chindoole village.
An eye witness says the accident occured after a Freightliner truck first hit a Toyota coaster minibus before ramming into a third vehicle.
The bodies have been taken to Dedza district hospital and so too those injured.
