Groblersbrug border post temporarily closed following a positive Covid-19 case

Transist Bureau has informed cross-border transporters that the Groblersbrug Port of Entry (PoE) has been temporarily closed.

This comes after yet another positive Covid-19 confirmation.

Recently the same crossing was closed after 11 cases of the coronavirus were reported at the north-eastern access point between Botswana and South Africa.

Posting on the Bureau’s WhatsApp group earlier today, a clearing agent said “Botswana’s border authorities have informed us that they will be closing the port temporarily for decontamination.”

The PoE will be closed from noon today till 15:00. – FreightNews
