Traffic on the N3 freeway is heavily backed up about 30km after Wardens towards Johannesburg following a serious crash between a truck and two cars on Friday afternoon.
N3 Toll Concession confirmed in a tweet just before 14h00 that recovery was ongoing.
Details of the accident were not immediately available however truck drivers on the scene confirmed that both Durban bound and Johannesburg bound carriageways were heavily affected.
