The trucking community and loved ones are in distress as 31-year-old Mceud Muyetenga has gone missing under alarming circumstances. Mceud, a Namibian cross border trucker, was last heard from on Wednesday, 19 June 2025, while on duty as a truck driver.
According to available information, the truck he was operating is believed to have been hijacked. The trailers were later recovered, but the horse (truck cab) and Mceud have not been found. Since that day, there has been no communication or sign of his whereabouts.
He is described as having an average build, medium height, with black hair and brown eyes. Friends, family, and fellow drivers are desperately pleading for any information that may lead to his safe return.
“He’s a quiet, responsible guy who loves his job. This disappearance is out of character and deeply concerning,” said a close friend.

The case is being handled by SAPS Bekkersdal in Gauteng, and the public is urged to come forward with any piece of information, no matter how small, that might help in tracing Mceud.
