A hijacked truck and stock valued at R1.2 million was recovered in Ga-Rankuwa Industrial Zone 15 after being hijacked in Mooinooi, North West.
According to a police statement, the operation was led by members of Garankuwa SAPS, Gauteng Highway Patrol, Gauteng Traffic Wardens (STT NC), Tshenolo P.I., Rentrak, and the LCRC Garankuwa, acting on intelligence about the hijacking.

Upon arrival at the warehouse, officers found the truck parked inside a panel beating and body shop facility. Inside, they arrested four suspects and recovered some of the stolen poultry and meats.
“These suspects had been using customer vehicles, initially brought in for repairs, to off-load and distribute the stolen stock,” police added.
