Voltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Code 10 Driver to join their Randburg branch. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure efficient delivery and collection of stock to customers while adhering to safety and compliance regulations.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

✔ Education & Licenses:

• Matric / Grade 12 or Equivalent (Mandatory)
• Valid Code 10 Driver’s License (Mandatory)
• Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit) (Mandatory)

✔ Experience & Skills:

• At least 3 years of driving experience
• Familiarity with GPS technology and route navigation
• Knowledge of warehouse processes & logistics operations
• Understanding of safety standards & use of protective clothing
• Strong communication & customer service skills

🛠 Key Responsibilities

As a Code 10 Driver, your duties will include:

✅ Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct vehicle checks and ensure the truck is roadworthy before starting a trip
✅ Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and report any vehicle defects or incidents
✅ Route Planning: Navigate efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries
✅ Stock Handling: Work with the dispatch clerk to load stock and confirm it matches the delivery note
✅ Delivery Documentation: Obtain client signatures and submit accurate reports for each delivery
✅ Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the vehicle clean and report servicing requirements to the Operations Manager
✅ Customer Service: Professionally handle customer complaints and inquiries
