Khuzani who is very well-known for his unmatched achievements in the Maskandi genre has purchased a Volvo truck and tautliner superlink, signalling his entry into the trucking business.
Born Khuzani Nkosikhona Innocent Mpungose, the King of Maskandi, Khuzani stepped into the logistics industry in style as shown in the video at the end of the article.
The Maskandi star from Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, recently returned to South Africa from Dubai and New York where he perfomed alongside the Clermont Choir.
Now, he’s channelling the same hard work and dedication that made him a household name in music into building his logistics empire.
Khuzani, the first Maskandi artist to fill the Moses Mabhida Stadium in 2019 with his #GcwalisaIMabhida concert—attended by none other than President Cyril Ramaphosa – said venturing into the trucking industry is both exciting and intimidating.

“This is just the beginning,” Khuzani shared. “I’ve always believed in creating opportunities beyond music. The trucking business is a new challenge, but I’m ready to grow and leave a legacy for future generations.”
Khuzani is no stranger to making history.
He’s won 22 awards, including multiple South African Music Awards, and became the first Maskandi artist to top Ukhozi FM’s Ingoma Ehlukanisa Unyaka in 2020/21 and 2023/24 before gracefully bowing out of the competition.
