Cape Town – More than 40 long-haul trucks, as well as half a dozen vehicles from Gordon’s Bay Fire Fighters, rolled into Killarney International Raceway on Sunday 3 November, engines rumbling and horns blaring, bringing gifts in aid of less fortunate people, particularly children with disabilities or cancer.
The giants of the road were festooned with soft toys, a worldwide symbol of child-focused charity events, and as soon as they had parked the day became a celebration of family, with members of the public joining in, as you’ll see from the gallery
