Man crushed by truck after jack fails in Pretoria

A Pretoria man has been crushed by a truck after the jack he was using to lift the truck failed and the truck came crushing down on him.

Netcare 911’s Shawn Herbst said that the man was changing a wheel from the truck when the accident happened.

The incident happened on De Villebois Mareuil Drive in Moreleta Park in Pretoria.

“The patient was found to have sustained critical injuries and was stabilised on scene before being flown by Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance to hospital,” said Herbst.
