In Mpumalanga on the N4 route at the Elands Valley about 4km from Ngodwana the road is curving in, no vehicles are allowed to pass, road closed. Alternatively use the Schoemansklof route.

N1 from Cape Town closed on both direction about 100 km before Beaufort West due to a truck that has overturned blocking the whole road.
A side tipper truck crashed on the N3 between the two entrances of Harrismith.
No injuries were reported on the scene.
During the night two trucks collided on the N3 at the S bends between Montrose and Harrismith.
