N3 Balgowan Truck Accident Leaves Driver in Serious Condition

A driver was seriously injured when he lost control of his articulated truck on the N3 freeway at Balgowan on Thursday afternoon.

According to Midlands EMS, paramedics were dispatched to the N3 in Balgowan for a single truck accident.

Upon arrival, it was found that a truck was lying in the centre median of the N3.

The driver was in serious condition and required urgent advanced life support treatment.

Once stabilized, the patient was transported to a Level 1 trauma hospital for further care.

The cause of the crash is not known at this stage, however, authorities attended the scene.
