N3 Cato Ridge crash as truck is driven into rear of bakkie

At around 13h20 on Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics and their rescue unit responded to a collision on the N3 West Bound near the One Stop in Cato Ridge.

Reports from the scene indicate that a truck collided into the rear of a bakkie. Exact detail to the cause of the crash however will remain a subject for police investigation.

Paramedics and the Netcare rescue unit arrived at the scene and found that two people from the bakkie sustained moderate injuries. The patients were treated at the scene before medics transported them to hospital for the care that they required.
