One Dead in Multi-Vehicle Crash on N4 Near Malelane

One person has been killed in a collision involving a side tipper truck, a bakkie, and a sedan on the N4 just outside Malelane this afternoon, 27 September.

This is according to new information received following our initial report on Facebook, where details were still limited at the time. The crash, which was reported by truckers shortly after 14h00, caused major disruptions on the busy route.

Moeti Mmusi from the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison confirmed that a passenger died at the scene, while the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
