Seven people were killed and eight others seriously injured in a collision involving a truck and a minibus taxi on the N4 near Hectorspruit in Mpumalanga last night.
According to Mpumalanga Community Safety, it is suspected that the driver of the taxi may have lost control over the minibus taxi moments before crashing into the side of the truck.
The eight seriously injured people were rushed to Shongwe Hospital, Tonga hospital and Nelspruit Medi Hospital and are receiving attention.

It’s believed that the mini-bus taxi was traveling from Johannesburg to Mozambique when the crash occurred.
