Robbers Get Away with 247 Pallets of Sugar in Isando Seven-Truck Heist

In a brazen heist on Friday, a group of highly organized robbers stormed a warehouse in Isando, taking control of the premises and making off with a staggering 247 pallets of Selati sugar.

The suspects reportedly entered the warehouse around 08:31, quickly subduing and tying up the warehouse staff before bringing in a fleet of seven trucks.

Between 08:31 and 12:14, the criminals methodically loaded the sugar onto the trucks, which were all superlink-tautliner combinations.

Authorities have confirmed that all the registration numbers displayed on the trucks were fake, adding another layer of difficulty to the investigation.

Below are the details of the trucks involved:

Combination 1 – White Volvo (FC48CHGP) with white/dark blue trailers.

Combination 2 – White Scania R500 (DY99RMGP) with white/blue trailers; front trailer has a green rim on the right rear.

Combination 3 – White International 9800i (BM13XPGP) with blue trailers.

Combination 4 – White Volvo FH440 (FG64XXGP) with blue trailers.

Combination 5 – White Freightliner Argosy (125MJCGP) with blue trailers.

Combination 6 – White International 9800i (YMD124GP) with white/blue trailers.

Combination 7 – White UD Quon (HJ42ZDGP) with white/black (faded) trailers.

Each truck is described as towing superlink-tautliner trailers, and while the registration numbers are all false, it’s hoped that the truck descriptions may prompt leads.
