SA Trucker find me a job

SA Trucker is launching a free find me a job service to help unemployed truck drivers get hired, at the same time also providing employers a pool of available code 14 drivers to choose from.

It was an easy decision to make for the SA Trucker team to start the initiative as this will benefit all role players in the trucking industry.

The #SATruckerFindMeAJob service will be available for code 14 jobs only at this stage.

It’s a win win situation for the employer and the job seeker and SA Trucker is happy to facilitate the union.

How SA Trucker find me a job works

Truck drivers looking for a job will be asked to register for free on the link at the bottom.

SA Trucker will capture the job seeker’s details and maintain a database for each province.

When a job opportunity becomes available, SA Trucker checks the job requirements and contact qualifying applicants.

If there are no qualifying applicants, SA Trucker will try to negotiate with the employer to accommodate the available applicants. It must be noted, however, that not all job requirements are negotiable.

We will also keep records of placements made through our service for the purposes of measuring progress made and improvement of the service where it’s needed.

We receive several requests for employment as well as requests to post ‘truck driver jobs available’ hence we intend to provide a link between the two parties.

The success of this project hangs on the support from employing trucking companies when they share available jobs with us.

We will approach the biggest employers in the trucking industry and present our database of drivers looking for employment in their area and ask them to consider our applicants the next time they hire.

As an employed truck driver you can also help by sharing information of where a code 14 vacancy is available.

We will be creating a Telegram group where we share strictly job seeking ideas to compliment our service.

Disclaimer: SA Trucker is not an employment agency neither do we also have jobs but we are just offering this free help to truck drivers seeking employment as a community service.
