Johannesburg – Three people burnt to death after their car collided with a tanker and caught fire on R554 Van Dyk Road in Germiston late on Saturday night.
Netcare 911 responded to reports of the collision in Rondebult, Germiston at around 22h39.
Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a heavy motor vehicle were involved in the collision resulting in the car bursting into flames on impact.
Three occupants of the car sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased on the scene another sustained serious injuries.
Once stabilized the patient was transported to hospital for further assessment.
All necessary authorities were on scene.
