Boksburg – Three Greyhound buses were destroyed in a massive fire that broke out in Jet Park, Boksburg, on Sunday.
According to the City of Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS), a distress call was received reporting buses engulfed in flames at 32 Vosloo Street.
Spokesperson William Ntladi said three fire stations, Boksburg Leon Ferreira, Albertina, and Primrose were dispatched to the scene. On arrival, firefighters found three buses and a trailer already in flames.

“Our teams launched a defensive attack, working together with ACSA fire and rescue crews who provided backup and additional water tankers. Fortunately, two buses were successfully driven to safety before the fire spread,” said Ntladi.
