Three Suspected Hijackers Shot Dead by their Victim on N1 at Diepkloof Interchange

The N1 highway is closed at the Diepkloof Interchange after three alleged hijackers were shot dead by their victim.

According to officers at the scene, a 35-year-old motorist shot and killed the three alleged hijackers who attacked him while driving on the N1 north on Tuesday morning.

The armed suspects were on foot when they attempted to hijack the motorist’s bakkie.

According to JMPD spokesperson Xolani Fihla, the police are attending to the scene.
