A high truck has cut the powerlines at Fairfield rd in Northdene Pinetown after the driver misjudged the height. A train which was coming could not stop in time and ploughed into the truck and derailed.
The driver of the truck escaped before the impact and there was no injuries reported from the train passengers.
Traffic was being redirected and drivers have advised to stay away from the Fairfield Road area.
