Truck crashes off bridge on R59 onto Michelle Ave in Alberton

A man has been injured after his truck crashed off a bridge on the R59 highway landing onto the Michelle Avenue underneath the R59 highway on Monday morning.

Paramedics attended to the driver who sustained moderate injuries.

Traffic on R59 towards Alberton had to use Swartkoppies off-ramp or the Voortrekker off-ramp to avoid Michelle ave.

Authorities attended the scene and will be investigating the cause of the accident.
