TRUCK DRIVER CRASHES DURING HEART ATTACK IN NORTHERN KZN truck

After seemingly suffering a heart attack, he died behind the wheel after the truck plowed into a fence.

A truck driver died tragically on Friday in a freak accident in Alton, Richards Bay, in KwaZulu-Natal, Zululand Observer reports.

The unnamed, elderly driver had reportedly been in good health and fine spirits when he set out on his journey, but it was a short and fatal one.

After seemingly suffering a heart attack, he died behind the wheel after the truck plowed into a fence and on to a greenbelt in Kraft Link.

Onlookers and rescue works who were quickly on the scene were unable to revive him.

Police are investigating reports that the incident may have been linked to the actions of a VW Golf driver just before the accident.
