A truck driver was reportedly injured after a horrific crash on the R81 near Ga-Sekgopo in Limpopo, with the entire incident captured on a dashcam.
According to information received, the crash occurred when the truck suddenly left the tarred roadway and veered onto a dirt road branching off to the left.
The dashcam footage shows the heavy vehicle drifting off the road before travelling onto the gravel surface. Within seconds, the truck violently crashes, kicking up a massive cloud of dust before disappearing into a ditch alongside the road.
The force of the impact highlights just how severe the crash was.
The driver reportedly sustained injuries and was transported to hospital for medical treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been confirmed, and no further details regarding the driver’s condition were immediately available.

The cause of the crash is also unknown at this stage and will likely form part of the relevant authorities’ investigation.
