Johannesburg – A Zambian truck driver is still missing after he was hijacked with his truck on the N1 in South Africa.

Zambia Association in South Africa (ZASA) president Ferdinand Simaanya has confirmed this to Mwebantu.

“We have a driver by the name of Nixon Hantumbu who was hijacked on the N1. He is working for Haulier Logistics. The truck has been found but most of the goods are missing.” Mr. Simaanya said.

He added that the truck has a number of bullet holes.

“Anyone with information that can lead to the whereabouts of Nixon to please contact the nearest police station, or the Zambia High Commission or the Zambia Association in South Africa.” He appealed.
