Truck drivers pull entrapped fellow trucker out from wreck after serious crash

Truck drivers who witnessed a truck accident on R36 at Schoemanskloof for a moment traded the steering wheel for rescue operations to free a fellow trucker entrapped under the truck.

A trucker who spoke to SA Trucker said that he arrived at the scene a few minutes after the accident happened.

“The driver was trapped under one of the truck’s front wheels so we ganged up on the cab and managed to slightly lift it off his leg and pulled him out,” said the trucker.
