One person has died, and several others have been injured following a serious crash at the intersection of Watermeyer and Stevenson Streets in Klipfontein.

Video from the scene captures the devastating aftermath, showing a light motor vehicle embedded in the side of a minibus taxi after the violent collision.

Emergency services and other authorities responded to the scene, where rescue operations were carried out to assist those trapped and injured in the crash. Several patients were treated before being transported to the hospital for further medical care.
