A heartbreaking video has gone viral on social media, showing the tragic final moments of a truck driver who was knocked down by a speeding car after leaving a security office.

The incident reportedly happened in Brandvlei.

In the CCTV footage, the driver is seen walking towards his truck while talking on his cellphone. As he crosses the road, a Toyota Quantum parked on his left partially blocks his view of oncoming traffic. Believing the road to be clear, he proceeds.
