Watch: Careless driver forces rolled over taxi back onto the road IMG 20170220 165747 954

A video of a wrecked taxi driving on an unidentified road in South Africa is causing a stir on the social media.

It’s common knowledge the reckless tag has stuck well on our taxi drivers. They don’t disappoint also in their efforts to stay on top with their robot skipping, unsafe overtaking and all their daily dangerous manouvres.

In this video though, one of their own has set a target which might never be successfully challenged- roll a taxi a few times, get it back onto the highway and drive on.

That’s exactly what this driver managed to do. It is evident the taxi rolled a few times, completely loosing its shape in the process. Somehow he got it to stand on its wheels and drove on.

UTTER DISREGARD FOR ROAD RULES AND SAFETY OR TOW TRUCKS ARE JUST TOO EXPENSIVE?

Trying to understand what could have driven the driver to perform this stunt, the above two reasons are worth considering.

Taxi drivers don’t care that someone is watching. They don’t fear cops hence by them anything goes. They have no regard for no one including the traffic cops.

You could easily be charged R1000 for towing your car for less than 2 km. So this could be a man doing what a man got to do to get his vehicle to the panel beater.

WHAT DO YOU SAY?
