CCTV footage of an armed robbery at a clothing store in a mall in Empangeni has emerged online.
A gang of eight armed suspects targetted the clothing outlet at a mall in the northern KZN town on Wednesday morning.
They can be seen in the video arriving at the mall with two cars.
They held up a security guard before taking clothes and blankets from the store and fled the scene.
They fled towards Durban on the N2 in their vehicles before private security officers pursued them and called for backup.

Police officers and other security personnel were waiting at the Tongaat Toll Plaza.
The suspects lost control of the vehicles and a shootout ensued.
Five suspects were killed in the shootout and two were wounded and taken to hospital. Police subsequently arrested an eighth man as he fled the scene.
