CCTV footage of the horrific Jozini truck accident has emerged online.
According to SABC, eight people died on the scene, while 32 others were injured.
In the CCTV footage an empty sugar cane truck can be seen crashing into a number of vehicles before ploughing into an open space where street vendors and hawkers sell their goods.
It was established that the crashed with nine other vehicles on its path of destruction.
The incident took place in the town centre of Jozini, with camera footage recording the time at 12.18pm.

The incident has sparked national outrage after transport minister Fikile Mbalula announced that the driver had allegedly been under the influence of alcohol.
The public is especially angry because alcohol ban during the lockdown was lifted just a few days ago.
The truck driver has been detained and is facing culpable homicide charges.
