CCTV footage has emerged showing a devastating crash in Hartswater that claimed three lives and left three others seriously injured.
The footage, captured at around 00:34, shows a car travelling on the highway when another vehicle, which had ignored a stop sign, enters the intersection and collides with it.
According to social media reports, the tragic crash involved three matriculants heading to the coast to celebrate their exams and a reportedly intoxicated driver from Pampierstad, travelling with his children.
The impact was catastrophic, resulting in the loss of three lives and leaving the young passengers in the other vehicle hospitalized with serious injuries.
