Durban – A man has been killed and another left entrapped after the truck they were travelling in overturned on Edwin Swales drive (M7) on Tuesday morning.
A video of the truck lying on its side was sent to SA Trucker by a trucker who passed the scene just after the accident around 07h45.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver perished after he was thrown out of the truck then it came and crashed on top of him.
Truck overturned Umbilo Rd outgoing, in the vicinity of the flyover and M7 off ramp near Southway Mall. The roadway is CLOSED to traffic. #KZNTraffic

At the time of publishing, the road was closed as rescue personnel were busy extracting the victims.
Another man, who was a passenger in the truck was severely entrapped in the cab.
