Watch: Hair raising high speed chase between cops and stolen bakkie near Pretoria

Video footage has surfaced of a breath taking high speed chase between cops and a car thief in a Nissan 1400 bakkie.

According to anti-crime activist Yusuf Abramjee, the incident happened last week on R80 just outside Pretoria. The video, however, only surfaced today.

A police helicopter had to be employed to help harness the flying bakkie.
